God's Plan of Salvation

1. Man is a sinner and is separated from God. Each one of us has broken at least one of the Ten Commandments. The Bible says when we break one, we are guilty of them all. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

Because we have sinned we are separated from God because He is Holy. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

God gives us eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ.

2. The law and works do not save. "Therefore no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin." Romans 3:20

The law shows us our sin. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

3. Salvation comes by Jesus Christ alone. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

4. You must be born again. "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." John 3:3

5. Today is the day of Salvation. "Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Hebrews 9:27

Don't wait to surrender your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, there are NO second chances.

6. Prayer of Salvation:

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that you died on the cross to pay for my sins and rose from the dead so that I may have eternal life. I am sorry for my sinful ways and repent of them. I surrender my life to you and will now allow you to be the Lord of my life. May I begin my new life living for You and not myself anymore. In Your precious name, Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer and have truly repented of your sins, and surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord, rejoice; all the angels in Heaven are rejoicing with you! Please let us know by emailing us so that we can send you a Bible and share with you the next step you need to take!

God bless you!

Surrender

"If you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (then) you will be saved" Romans 10:9. This conditional "if-then" statement has two requirements in order for the recipient to receive salvation. The first condition is to "confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord'. This does not mean just repeat these words. What this condition requires is that the person speaking these words surrenders to Jesus as the Lord (master) of their lives. Without this first step of surrender, one cannot have salvation. Salvation is not being offered as a free gift for one to just receive. It is a free gift that is given only to those that satisfy the conditions. These conditions are not works, although God does have work planned for people to do, but these conditions are a matter of surrender and belief. A surrendered person will do the works that "God has prepared in advance for him to do" (Ephesians 2:10) for "faith without works is dead" (James 2:26). If a person claims to be "saved" or a "Christian" and has not surrendered to Jesus and there is no fruit in their lives, then they should take a good hard look at themselves to "examine themselves to see if they are in the faith" (2 Cor. 13:5).

The second condition is to "believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead". One needs to truly believe that what the bible says is true and that Jesus died for our sins and was raised back to life conquering sin and death and making a way for anyone to receive forgiveness for their sins. For most people this is the easier part of the two. Growing up in America many of us have heard about Jesus and what He has done. But often many people believe, without surrender. "Even the demons believe and shudder" (James 2:19). In the parable of the sower (Matthew 13:18-23) Jesus warns us about the seed that has been scattered on the ground, but does not bear fruit.

Finally, once both conditions have been met, surrender and belief, then and only then, will God grant the surrendered and believing person the gift of salvation. God does not give a choice by saying we can either surrender to Him as Lord, or believe in Him, no, He requires that we do both. God does not just offer salvation for anyone to come and get. It is a benefit or by-product of a surrendered-believing heart. A surrendered life will do the will of God. Jesus said "only those who do the will of my father will enter the kingdom of God" (Matthew 7:21). If a person prays the "sinners prayer" and thinks they are Christian without surrendering their life to God and doing the Father's will, they will end up saying "but Lord we did all these things in your name" and Jesus will answer them "go away from me I never knew you" (Matthew 7:23).

The seed that fell on the fertile soil grew and produced fruit in abundance. These are the saved ones (Matthew 7:19). Do a fruit inspection on your life, are you doing the Father's will? Praise God if you are, if not, it's time to surrender!
